Beijing, Feb 10 (Prensa Latina) China on Monday advocated for searching equitable solutions to the situation in Venezuela and Palestine, insisting on avoiding acts that move away from any possibility of negotiations in both countries.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted its position committed to the principles of the Charter of the United Nations and the rejection to the foreign interference in the Venezuelan issue.
The Ministry also denounced the damage to the economy, the people and the normal development of the international relations of Caracas due to the imposition of punishment measures by nations such as the United States.
‘We urge other countries to take into account the humanitarian reality of Venezuela, stop imposing unilateral and extraterritorial sanctions, and work to create necessary conditions that will lead to the stability of its economic growth,’ Foreign Ministry spokesperson Geng Shuang said.
Geng also deplored any unilateral act that increases tensions between Israel and Palestine, asked the Tel Aviv government to act carefully and prevent a deterioration of peace in the region.
‘China advocates for a solution to the conflict based on the international consensus, including UN resolutions, the two-State solution and the land for peace principles,’ he said.
