The popular duo of trapton Yomil and Dany have just recorded, together with the young Cuban reggaeton player Chesco, a video clip in different locations in Central Havana.
In the recording in this Havana municipality, one of the most affected by the coronavirus , Yomil Hidalgo and Daniel Muñoz, the members of the duo, are seen, followed by a group of young people with nasobucos and black shirts with the phrase Los Champions.
The clip was directed by Leandro. J Escalona and the production was in charge of Trapton Music Inc, the independent company of Yomil and Dany.
Chesco is one of the new members of the company’s catalog and has recorded on other occasions with the famous Cuban duo, whose songs are very popular on the island.
The clip also featured Marlon “el Guapo Natural”, who has achieved great popularity on social media and in urban music.
During the pandemic, the vast majority of outdoor filming in the world of entertainment and video clip has stopped, making the filming of this work one of the exceptions in the artistic field of the capital.
The group recently announced the premiere of their new album “Los Champions”, with collaborations with artists such as Eduardo Mora (Eddy K), Damián (ex-member of Los Desiguales), Wampi, Harryson, El Taiger, Kímico and Yordi, Yulien Oviedo, and Lenier, among others.
The artists themselves said on their official Instagram account that this album could mark another success in their career. “We can assure you with completeness that one of the hardest albums of our #loschampions career is coming”.
Yomil and Dany have extensive record work consisting of albums such as Sólido, Dopados de la mente, Ambidextrous, Mug, Overdose, and Doping, among others.
Despite the censorship they suffered during their first years, the duo was placed in the first places of reference among the followers of urban music in Cuba and their songs were heard in most of the discotheques and nightclubs in Havana and other provinces of the country.
In recent years they have appeared in different spaces on national television and have performed in countries like the United States.
